Virginia Faulkner-Monks
ADOPTION COUNSELOR & VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Virginia was born and raised in Sandpoint Idaho where she spent her childhood growing up on a small family sheep farm with all kinds of creatures. Between the sheep, donkey, llamas, horses, goats, chickens and many rescued dogs and cats, she grew up loving animals of all shapes and sizes. Virginia attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and then Western Washington University in Bellingham where she graduated in 2015 with a BA in Outdoor and Community Recreation. She loves everything about animal rescue, especially helping a shy or scared animal overcome those fears and blossom into a loving pet. You can find Virginia out on the bike trails and ski slopes with her partner Ben and their dogs Izzy and Princess Buttercup.
