Born and raised in the midwest, short stint in Texas and many years in California before landing in Jackson about 15 years ago, Abby is a lifelong animal lover. Abby’s Grandparents had a farm in Missouri where she visited often, raising ducks, chickens, cats, horses and any other animal that wandered onto the farm. Often bottle feeding birds and rabbits that mothers had abandoned or that were sick.

Now 4 rescues later and their youngest child checking the AAC website weekly for dogs, animals are outnumbering humans in their household.

In her prior professional life, Abby worked in analyst and customer relations for Compaq computers, HP and Levi Strauss Headquarters in San Francisco.

Aside from the AAC Board, Abby is a member of the Jackson Police Departments Citizens Mounted Patrol Unit with her horse Clara. She also enjoys swimming, yoga, horseback riding, walking her dogs and spending time with her husband and 4 children.
