At a time when veterinary clinics across the country are facing staffing shortages and spay/neuter appointments can be weeks or even months out, our surgical suite helps reduce wait times, shorten shelter stays, and get more animals on their way to adoption.

The suite also allows us to significantly reduce our medical costs, which means we can pass those savings along to our regional partners and help their dollars go further, too. Beyond caring for AAC animals and maximizing the impact of every donor dollar, this program supports our larger mission of making high-quality, affordable spay and neuter accessible to communities across Wyoming.

So far, this program has provided essential care to 250 adoptable animals, with many more to come!
