UNDERDOG OF THE MONTH

Meet the Underdog of the Month- Jax! Jax is a sweet, 12-year-old Lab mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. While he still enjoys the occasional adventure and exploring the world around him, Jax’s favorite thing is simply chilling at home with his people. He’s the kind of dog who will happily lounge by your side, soak up your attention, and make any space feel cozy and calm.

Loyal and affectionate, Jax is the perfect balance of easygoing friend and occasional playful buddy—always ready to relax, enjoy life, and share his love with you.

If Jax sounds like he may be your perfect match- fill out an application today!

SOPHIE’S STORY

Enjoy this heartwarming story of Sophie and her adopter. Fostering goes a long way and who knows you could find your Sophie one day!

Thank you for continuing to fuel our life-saving mission. With your help we are able to reach animals in dire need, prevent unwanted pets from entering the burdened shelter system, reduce euthanasia rates, and so much more.

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Animals live because you give!

Give Today

The Animal Adoption Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization. Your gift directly supports our rescue and adoption programs, educational initiatives, and our spay/neuter program.

Lulu’s Fund Match

The Lulu’s Fund has been a longtime supporter of the Animal Adoption Center. Thanks to the generous support of fund founder’s, Tim & Sandy Day, the AAC has two annual matching opportunities. These matches support the AAC’s life-saving programs through the New Leash on Life Challenge and our statewide spay/neuter efforts through the Spay/Neuter Challenge.

Nightingale Fund

This fund provides life-saving and life-changing surgeries, veterinary care, and rehabilitation to animals who otherwise would spend their remaining days in pain and suffering before being euthanized in a shelter.  Thanks to the Nightingale Fund dogs like, Harry, were able to get the care they needed to live a full life.
